Both teams were strong on the hill on Tuesday, but Juanita Varsity Ravens was just a little bit stronger at the plate in their 3-1 victory over Redmond Varsity Mustangs. #2 Jay Heath started the game for Redmond Varsity Mustangs and recorded 11 outs.
Heath went three and two-thirds innings, allowing three runs on three hits, striking out three and walking three. #1 Kotaro Ishiyama came in relief allowing no runs and no hits in 1/3 inning, and #12 Lance Burt finished the last 3 innings of the game allowing 3 hits, walking one and striking out three.
#13 Isaiah McMahan went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Redmond Varsity Mustangs in hits. #11 Aidan Kim, #6 Chase Lawson, Heath each collected one hit for the Mustangs. The Mustangs were sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. McMahan made the most plays with seven.
