Your Redmond Mustangs were triumphant over Liberty Patriots 5-0 on Friday.
The Mustangs opened the scoring in the first after #12 Lance Burt singled, scoring #2 Jay Heath.
#2 Hiroshi Johnson earned the win for the Mustangs pitching a complete game. The starter gave up five hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out three and walking none.
#24 Cody Yuki-Kemnitz led the Mustangs with two runs batted in from the number seven spot in the lineup. The outfielder went 1-for-3 on the day. #5 Cavin Bowmer and Burt were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for the Mustangs. The Mustangs stole five bases in the game. The Mustangs turned two double plays in the game. and didn’t commit a single error in the field. #13 Isaiah McMahan had the most chances in the field with 12.
For their next game, the Mustangs will travel to Lynnwood High School on Tuesday, 4/22, @ 4pm to battle the Royals. GO STANGS BABY!!!
