Redmond competes in the KingCo 4A Crest Conference with Bothell, Bellevue, Hazen, Inglemoor, Juanita, Liberty and Mercer Island high schools.
In 2025, our teams will play a 20-game schedule from March 12 through April 25. The Varsity post-season begins in May, with the WIAA State Championships scheduled for May 31 at GESA Stadium in Pasco. Game Schedule can be found here: KingCo RHS Varsity Game Schedule
2025 Tryouts: Tryouts take place at RHS and Hartman Park from March 3rd – 5th, from 3:45 p.m. to dusk.
Practices: The Varsity, JV, and C teams practice every day after school. The Varsity team may have additional practices and other activities on the weekend. Link to practice schedule: HERE
Games: With an 8-team league along with additional non-Conference games with high schools from the Crown and Mountain Conferences, the schedule is packed. Expect an 18-game schedule and a possible pre-season jamboree. Varsity and JV games are every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with game start times varying. C-team games will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays with some exceptions.
Spring Break: We practice and play games all week. Plan to spend Spring Break cheering on your player and do not schedule travel or vacation during this time.
2025 Season: Key Dates
- Dec – Feb: Weight Training Workouts – Optional weight and conditioning training begins on December 3 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Tuesday at 3:40 – 4:45pm, Wednesdays at 2:00 – 3:30pm and Fridays at 7:15 – 8:15am in Redmond High School Weight Room. Last workout will be on February 28. Players can download the FitBod app to track their workouts (FitBod for iPhone / FitBod for Android). Open Field Workouts – In late January through February, David Gibons will be running an optional open field workout for those players wanting some fielding and hitting practice at the RHS baseball field. Dates & Times TBD.
- January 2025 Spring Sport Registration opens. Register online through FinalForms and contact the RHS Athletics office with questions. Make sure Sport Physical is up to date. Be sure to schedule early to get it done before tryouts begin. Players without current Physical will not be able to participate in tryouts. Sports Physicals are good for two years. All Final Form paperwork needs to be completed as well. No Sport fee required until player is assigned to a team.
- Feb 28: Spring Sports registration is due.
- March 1: Field work party at Hartman Park and RHS. Meet at RHS at 10 a.m.
- March 3 First day of tryouts. At RHS from 3:45 p.m. to dusk
- March 4 – 6: Tryouts continue at 3:45 p.m. at RHS and Hartman; exact times and location will depend on your player. We plan to post rosters on the evening of Thursday, March 2.
- March 7: Daily practices begin. 3:45-6:00 p.m. at RHS or Hartman depending on the team assignment.
- March 8 (AM): Uniforms will be passed out in the morning
- March 8 (PM): Green vs Gold Scrimmage. High noon at Hartman Park or RHS
- March 14: Sports fee Payments open for cut sports
- March TBD: RHS Athletic Director, Dan Pudwill, Parents Spring Sports Orientation – Location: TBD
- March TBD: 7:00pm – Coaches/Parents/Players meeting – Location: TBD.

- April 14-18 Spring Break: As previously mentioned, games and practices are scheduled during the break. Plan to be available to play. Exceptions must be approved by Head Coach of your assigned team.
- April 23: Senior Night. Celebrate the Class of 2025 vs Bellevue HS at Hartman Park, our final home game of the season
- May TBD: Wes-King 4A District Tournament at Bannerwood Park
- May TBD: WIAA State Championships at GESA Stadium in Pasco
- May-June TBD: Redmond Mustangs Baseball Year-end Banquet at RHS Cafeteria
