The Mustangs faced off against Eastlake on Friday Night, the rubber match, having split the first two with the Wolves. Eastlake jumped out to an early lead 3-0 after the first. Those were the only runs starter Casey Lennon-Jones would allow through 3 innings. The Mustangs threatened in the second, third and fourth but left two runners on base in each of those innings. The lone Mustang run came in the 4th when Junior Michael Kimborowicz singled home Ryan Rembisz. Eastlake plated one more run in the bottom half of the inning. Relievers Kai Drotz, Tyler Ferry and Cole Uyematsu we all effective. Base runners were scarce and neither side threatened throughout the rest of the game. The Stangs dropped the contest to the Wolves 4-1 and fell to 4-4 on the season.
